While the installation was done and everything was working at first, and Daniel and team even installed a separate... remote control wifi box to the gate motor for us (as an extra ask) and helped us out with a few things here and there, the after-service required seemed like an inconvenience to Daniel because the distance to travel was too far.We had 2 problems reported. One was that the manual rope seemed difficult to use (compared to our neighbours'), and two was that the chain kept coming out, requiring someone to climb up on a ladder every time to put the chain back in, which was the bigger problem. All we got back from Daniel and team was that it is costly to come out to assess the problems, and that the problem is because of fiddling with or misusing the gate.When he eventually did come out to assess the problem, it was begrudgingly so and unfortunately the chain didn't slip out during his visit, so we didn't resolve the matters. I don't know what the cause of these problems are, but the fact is that the problems exist and I just want a way to have it fixed because a gate shouldn't be giving these problems a few weeks after installing it. Imagine then what will happen after months or years.It isn't about who is to blame, and it isn't a made-up problem. Why would we make up a problem to have Daniel come out and then have nothing to fix. Now after spending almost R10000, I get the sense that Daniel has washed his hands of any support to help - he has installed the gate, and it seems that is where the service ends, despite the challenges after installation.While I believe Daniel and team to be competent, I also believe that they are only interested in the sale and not the ultimate satisfaction of the client that the product is working and will continue to work well in to the future... Especially when the distance is an inconvenienceWhen we reported the problems, we immediately received comments from Daniel that this was not his fault but ours, even without him assessing the problems. Our concerns were dismissed outright without having assessed. I'm disappointed in the attitude. If Daniel's attitude was more one of "how do we fix this together and get to the bottom of the problem", I would have a very different view on this, but instead Daniel's attitude has been "you are using the gate wrong and doing things you shouldn't be doing, and the 20 minutes is too far to travel for me to assess your concerns"read more
